Glasgow City is a council area in Scotland, and the M8 runs through it. Transport Scotland lists the M8 Kingston Bridge among the river crossings on the trunk road network it oversees. It names M8 junction 8 as the Baillieston Interchange and junction 10 as Easterhouse, and says the M73 between Baillieston and Maryville links the M8 and M74. The M8 was completed between Glasgow and Edinburgh by a new link from Baillieston to Newhouse that passes Eurocentral on the A8 corridor.
On the M74 near Glasgow, Transport Scotland names junction 5 as Raith and junction 6 as Hamilton and Motherwell. It describes Raith Junction as a roundabout linking the M74 with the A725 Bellshill Bypass and the East Kilbride Expressway. The M77 begins at the M8 at Kinning Park in Glasgow and ends near Kilmarnock at Fenwick, and the M80 runs between Glasgow and Stirling via Cumbernauld and Denny, linking the M8, M73 and M9.
Glasgow is one of four Scottish city centres with a Low Emission Zone, along with Aberdeen, Dundee and Edinburgh. The zones operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and number plate cameras check all vehicles. Unless a vehicle is exempt, a diesel HGV must meet Euro VI and a petrol HGV Euro IV. Check the zone boundary with Glasgow City Council before you route a lorry into the city centre.

Tell us the site, the start time and the vehicle when you book, and say if the run goes into the city centre, because the Low Emission Zone standards apply to the vehicle. If you are a driver, tell us how much Scottish driving you have done, because the speed limits for goods vehicles over 7.5 tonnes are lower in Scotland on single and dual carriageways.
